Naturally grown Moth Beans (Matki). A Maharashtrian kitchen essential — sourced and packed without artificial polishing or preservatives. Smaller and firmer than most other pulses, matki holds its shape well during cooking and has a distinct, earthy flavour.
The base of Maharashtrian usal and misal. Sprouts faster than moong — soak for 8 hours, then keep damp for 12–16 hours to sprout.
